Bernie
COERCIVE CONTROL + DV SPECIALIST

Bernie has been a professional speaker since 2006, delivering engaging keynotes and workshops on masculinity, equality, domestic abuse, men’s mental health, and male cancer. He has spoken to over 165,000 people in schools, businesses, and conferences, including BBC New Broadcasting House, NHS events, and major stadiums.

Author of The Ladder, a careers guide for young people, and the upcoming Where Are The Men?, Bernie challenges unhealthy workplace norms, promotes male allyship, and fosters empathy. His sessions explore coercive control, misogyny in social media, and the impact of porn on relationships.

Bernie’s work is deeply personal—his sister, Sarah Gosling, was murdered by her abusive partner in 2012. He now educates on coercive control, domestic violence, and the role men play in ending gender-based abuse.

With humor and insight, Bernie inspires young people, teachers, and professionals to build safer, more equal communities.
