Claire, The Mindful Movement Coach, has worked in Education for 15 years and has been a Lead Teacher of English, Pastoral and Pupil Premium Lead in Secondary Schools for over a decade.
Claire has studied Senior Leadership at Institute of Education, University of London; focusing on Emotional Intelligence, delivers lectures to Trainee Teachers at Portsmouth University, where she is also an Entrepreneur in Residence. Claire is an award winning Mindful Movement Specialist; trained to teach young people and adults; focusing on neuroscience and the nervous system, working across Schools, Charities and Corporate Sectors.
Claire is a Writer and Speaker and presents her radio show on Express FM, “Cultivating Courageous Conversations”, whereby she interviews inspiring people within the community and invites them to lean into conversations sharing their mental health journeys.
Last year, Claire was invited twice to The House of Commons to discuss well-being in education and received the Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Role Model Award.
She is on a mission to ensure that people of all ages get the specialist mental health and emotional literacy support they need as whole human beings.
